Jai Rao: Cracked Heart

Thai soap operas are called "lakorn". The stories have a beginning, middle and end. They don't go on for years like an American soap opera. There is a popular lakorn now called "Jai Rao" which means "Cracked Heart". I bring this up because this morning every Thai female in the office was crowded around the window looking down at the Catholic church next door.
When I asked what was going on, they said that there was an actor at the church and that he was "a very handsome man". Apparently the soap opera Jai Rao was filming a wedding scene at the church. They asked to go down and watch for a few minutes so I let them go. I haven't seen such carrying on in a very long while. You'd think they'd all won the lottery! This is the actor that had their hearts all a-twitter. His name is Ken Theeradeth.

I haven't ever watched Jai Rao, but the excitement that it caused this morning was definitely entertaining.

ETA: You can watch Jai Rao with English subtitles on YouTube here.
This is the church scene. It's very dramatic as all soaps should be!
